George Chmiel

Founder of Blue Oceans Club
George Chmiel’s journey to founding Blue Oceans Club began in 2007 when, fresh off wrist surgery and working on Wall Street, he ran his first marathon with virtually no training. That race taught him the power of the mind–body connection and ignited a passion for pushing limits. He went on to complete 15 more marathons in two years before tackling a 155-mile self-supported race across the Sahara Desert—finishing 5th in 120°F heat and raising $100K for his goddaughter. Over the following years, George set a 3:04 marathon PR, tackled ultra-races on every continent, and even ran coast-to-coast across America. Today, that same drive underpins Blue Oceans Club’s mission: to blend elite performance training with luxurious recovery, empowering a community to redefine wellness together.

Josh Honore

Coach
Josh’s approach to fitness is rooted in knowledge, grit, and a mindset that greatness is a decision. Whether in lifting super heavy or endurance training (he’s completed several marathons and is preparing for a 115-mile ultra race), Josh brings this mentality to his coaching and inspires others to push beyond their limits. His mantra, “average or athlete,” is a reminder that achieving greatness is a choice—a choice that requires accountability and conviction.

Will Brown

Coach
Will is driven by helping people achieve their full potential through group fitness. He’s passionate about empowering others to become the best athletes they can be, eliminating doubts about their fitness and health. He thrives on the energy and camaraderie that group fitness brings, and believes everyone can push harder when supported by a team.

Hannah Plackowski

Coach
Hannah’s approach to coaching is rooted in her belief that everyone deserves to feel supported in their growth. With a background in both competitive sports and sales, she brings a unique perspective on how to create an environment where members feel encouraged, challenged, and truly valued. Her goal is to inspire members to push their physical and mental limits while helping them recognize their full potential

Brent Lagacy

Coach
As a 2x Olympic trial participant in javelin and currently ranked #6 in the state in arm wrestling, Brent brings a competitive, results-driven energy to every class. His experience in both individual and team settings allows him to create strong connections and tailor his coaching to meet each individual’s needs

Kara Galloway

Coach
With a high-octane, get-it-done energy, Kara expects full commitment from her members, just as she gives in every class. Her experience as a coach and sports marketer gives her a unique perspective on performance, pushing individuals to not only improve physically but also strengthen their mental resilience.
